The Roagna estate is a family owned winery, nested in the Barbaresco region in Piedmont. It’s been crafting wines for five generations and focuses on single vineyard expressions & long aging in neutral Slavonian oak casks. Organic farming practices.
Winemaking: hand- harvested grapes, cold maceration with punch overs for approximately 60 days, aged in large neutral casks for 5 years.
Appearance: medium ruby Aromas: violet, blackberry, black cherry, mint, dried herbs, cedar, graphite, smoke, earth, leather Palate: dry, high acidity, full bodied with polished tannins, 14% ABV.
