Nose: Aromas of gooseberry, lemon, green apple, baking spice, smoke, mineral and almond.
Palate: The wine is dry, with high acidity, and elevated alcohol. The wine is medium-bodied. Flavors of red apple, white peach, charred wood, nuts lead to a long, refreshing finish.
Serve: 10-12 °C

Timorasso is an ancient grape variety from southeast Piedmont. Began to decline after phylloxera, as it was replanted with the more productive Cortese. Almost disappeared until 1980s, when producer Walter Massa put it back on the map.
