A beautifully structured Rioja, built for the cellar
Rioja, Spain | Blend: 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo | 14.5% | Bodegas Muga | $47.99

Appearance: Deep ruby with purple hues
Nose: Aromas of violet, lavender, black cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, cedar.
Palate: The wine is dry, with high acidity and grippy tannins. It has high alcohol content and is medium plus in body. Flavors of black cherry, blackberry, chocolate, smoke and leather lead to a long finish with persistent tannins.
Serve: 16-18 °C
Personal note: Great Tempranillo with concentrated fruit and firm tannins. Would definitely benefit from a few years of bottle age.
Who will enjoy this wine?
Lovers of full-bodied reds, structured Tempranillo, and wines with firm tannins and savory oak influence.
