A beautiful Chardonnay from Down Under that drinks beautifully now, but could benefit from a couple of years of aging
SE Australia • 100% Chardonnay • 12.5% • Penfolds Wines • $40.99

Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Aromas of acacia blossom, honeysuckle, lime zest, sweet baking spices (clove, cinnamon), smoke, and a distinct saline note.
Palate: The wine is dry, with vibrant acidity, moderate alcohol and medium-bodied. A creamy texture carries flavors of Honeycrisp apple, white peach, vanilla, and charred oak, that culminates in a long, refreshing finish with lingering creamy and toasted oak notes.
Serve: 10-12 °C
Personal note: A fresh, complex Chardonnay that is drinking beautifully now and should become even more harmonious in the next 2-4 years.
