Appearance: Pale gold
Nose: Aromas of red apple, peach, smoke and flint.
Palate: Dry, with high acidity and moderate alcohol. Medium-bodied, with favors of citrus, red apple, pear, smoke, and subtle notes of toasted hazelnut. The finish is long and mouthwatering.

With roots dating back to 1851 in Marsala, Donnafugata’s modern history began in 1983 with the Contessa Entellina estate before expanding to Pantelleria, Mount Etna and beyond. The name Donnafugata (Woman on the Run) is inspired by Sicilian history and literature, and today the winery is one of Sicily’s leading producers.
