Zinfandel | a story of sun, spice, and old vines

  • Zinfandel is native to Croatia, where it has been known as Tribidrag since the 15th century. Today, it is widely planted in California, where it is known as Zinfandel, and in Italy’s Puglia region, where it is called Primitivo. The grape produces full bodied red wines with abundant fruit and deep color, and, in a lighter style, refreshing rosé wines
  • Climate: warm
  • Styles: still dry red and rosé wines, typically single–varietal
  • Structure: high acidity, medium- to full–bodied wines, medium-high alcohol
  • Classic Aromas: blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, cocoa, tobacco, licorice, raisins, savory meat
