  • Glera (previously known as Prosecco) is the principal grape variety used to produce Prosecco.It is typically fermented in tank using the Charmat method. Glera ripens late and is susceptible to fungal diseases and water stress
  • Climate: moderate continental
  • Styles: dry, semi–sparkling and sparkling wines, can be single–varietal or blended, dry to slightly sweeter
  • Structure: high acidity, light–medium bodied, moderate alcohol
